Occupational therapy is based on performing the meaningful activities of daily life (self-care skills, education, work or social interaction) .The ultimate goal is to enable or enhance participation in these activities despite impairments or limitations in physical or mental functioning. Our occupational therapists work with patients of all ages to improve skills that help them perform daily tasks at home, school, work and at play.
The goal of occupational therapy is to help people lead independent, productive and satisfying lives. We evaluate and treat each individual based on a plan that is determined by the person's functional level and by what tasks the person engages in on a regular basis.
