Our speech – language pathologists are all New York State licensed and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech – Language –Hearing Association. The Speech –Language and Swallowing department is a subspecialty department of Rehabilitation Medicine. Our speech – language pathologists specialize in evaluating and treating a variety of communication and /or swallowing disorders resulting from disability, surgery, neurological impairment, head and neck cancer and developmental disorders. Appropriate therapeutic management is provided based on individual needs. We offer speech -- language evaluations and therapy in English and Chinese.
