Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine
Dr. Bharam is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science. He also serves as associate instructor in hip arthroscopy to the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
Dr. Bharam has made numerous national presentations on hip arthroscopy and trauma. He is an author and an investigator, with articles appearing in peer-reviewed journals, and he has served a guest editor for both the Orthopaedic Clinics of North America and Clinics of Sports Medicine. He was the Year 2000 recipient of the Partners in Excellence Award for Orthopaedic Trauma Service from Massachusetts General/Brigham and Women's Hospital.
After earning his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School, Dr. Bharam completed his surgical internship at the Mount Sinai Medical Center and orthopaedic surgery residency at Lenox Hill Hospital. He then completed a trauma fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital and a sports medicine and hip arthroscopy fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Dr. Bharam specializes in arthroscopy, sports medicine and trauma.
