Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine

Dr. Selby is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and serves on the Board of Directors of the Arthroscopy Association of North America. Dr. Selby is the chairman of a subcommittee for sports medicine and arthro-scopy for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is an advisor and orthopaedic consultant for the National Institute of Sports, serves as associate editor for Arthroscopy: The Journal of Arthroscopic & Related Surgery, and is a reviewer for the Journal of Athletic Training, Physician and Sports Medicine, and the American Journal of Sports Medicine. Dr. Selby's articles have been published in many professional journals, including Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, Arthroscopy Practice, and Arthroscopy: The Journal of Arthroscopic & Related Surgery.

Dr. Selby earned his medical degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara Medical School and completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at St. Vincent's Hospital Manhattan. He serves as the James A. Dickson fellow in adult reconstructive surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and as a sports medicine fellow at Bayley Seton Hospital in Staten Island.

Dr.Selby specializes in joint-replacement surgery and sports medicine.
