Jerry S. Trier, MD - Internal Medicine/Gastroenterology

Dr. Trier is a professor emeritus at Harvard Medical School. He has been a member of the gastroenterology division for more than 30 years, serving as director for 15 years. Dr. Trier is past president of the American Gastroenterological Association and a recent recipient of the Association's Julius Friedenwald Medal for Lifetime Achievements in Gastroenterology.

Dr. Trier is a senior physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital and continues to participate in academic activities at Harvard. He has authored or coauthored more than 210 basic and clinical original publications, reviews, and textbook chapters.
