Dr. Alexander has specialized in neurological rehabilitation for the
past 16 years. He is medical director of the Daniel Freeman Rehabilitation
Center and an associate clinical professor at the UCLA School of Medicine,
Department of Neurology. Dr. Alexander recently served as an expert panel
member and author of the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research (AHCPR)
Clinical Practice Guideline titled "Post-Stroke Rehabilitation."
In October 1999 Dr. Alexander directed the course "Stroke
Rehabilitation: Evidence-Based and Practical Management" for the American
Academy of Neurology and the American Society of Neurorehabilitation; it was
held at the Daniel Freeman Rehabilitation Center.
