Anointing of the Sick  (formerly Last Rites/Extreme Unction)
This sacrament is a liturgical and communal celebration. It is available to any Catholic person who is sick.
The priest anoints the forehead and hands with holy oil and prays with the patient to the Holy Spirit for healing of
mind, body and spirit. If circumstances allow, Anointing of the Sick can be preceded by Reconciliation and followed by Holy Communion.

Patients who wish to receive any of the sacraments may call ext. 7858 and leave their name and room number.  Depending on the time of your call, it may be the following day when the priest or Eucharistic minister visits them.
