Ross E. Petty, MD, PhD, FRCPC - Pediatric Rheumatology
Dr. Petty is a professor emeritus at the University of British Columbia and
specializes in pediatric rheumatology at the British Columbia Children's
Hospital in Vancouver, BC. He serves on the Journal of
Rheumatology editorial board and is a reviewer for Arthritis and Rheumatism, Annals of Rheumatic
Diseases, and Journal of Rheumatology.
Dr. Petty has twice received the University of British Columbia's
Ivory Tower Award of the Department of Pediatrics in addition to the Ross Award
of the Canadian Paediatric Society, the James T. Cassidy Award of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Distinguished Rheumatologist Award
of the Canadian Rheumatology Association and the American College of Rheumatology. He lectures frequently and is an
invited participant at conferences throughout the world.
