Position Description :

St. Elizabeth Ann's Health Care and Rehabilitation Center is a 300-bed high technology nursing and rehabilitation center located minutes from the Verrazano Bridge in Staten Island. It offers geriatric care; chronic care, sub acute care and short term care to a diverse resident population. This 80 bed unit designed to provide a supportive clinically supervised environment for the long term needs of the elderly and chronically ill. An interdisciplinary team consisting of clinicians, counselors, social workers, pastoral staff work together to provide the individual with all the tools necessary to live a productive life. Various services such as ophthalmology, gynecology, podiatry, orthopaedics, ENT are offered to the residents. As a member of the team your role will be to provide safe, efficient and therapeutically effective nursing care, assists in patient education, triage, case and management duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Physician. Must be a graduate of a State Board of Nursing Approved Licensed Practical Nursing program. Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State required.
