Position Description :
|
Bishop Mugavero Center for Geriatric care is a state of the art 288 bed long-term care facility located in the historic Boerum Hill section of Brooklyn. The facility offers each resident an array of services including on site dental, radiology, rehabilitation therapy, social work services, pastoral care and beauty parlor. Sub acute programs include wound care, IV therapy, activity programs for the cognitively impaired and dysphasia program. An interdisciplinary team oversees the care and well being of each resident to ensure they are provided the highest quality of care.
As an LPN your role will be to provide safe, efficient and therapeutically effective nursing care, assists in patient education, triage, case and management duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Physician. Must be a graduate of a State Board of Nursing Approved Licensed Practical Nursing program. Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State required.
