St. Elizabeth Ann's Health Care and Rehabilitation Center is a 300-bed high technology nursing and rehabilitation center located minutes from the Verrazano Bridge in Staten Island. It offers geriatric care; chronic care, sub acute care and short term care to a diverse resident population. This 40 bed sub acute and short term rehabilitation unit dedicated to returning individuals of all ages back to their normal lives through aggressive institutionally based rehabilitation. Rehabilitation is performed on people who are status post fractures, joint replacements, suffered a stroke, neurological impingement or have suffered a long term illness and need to build up their strength before returning home. As a member of the team your role will be to provide and coordinate the delivery of effective and holistic patient care. Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care to achieve patient outcomes. Participates in interdisciplinary patient care activities. Collaborates with all healthcare workers in the delivery of patient care. Current NY State RN license required.
