Position Description :
|
The St. Vincent Catholic Medical Centers Early Intervention program is committed to providing coordinated and comprehensive early intervention services to infants, toddlers, and their families. Our Early Intervention services are provided by a team of specialists including speech feeding therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, special education teachers, social workers, psychologists, vision therapists and service coordinators.
Under the direction of the Early Intervention Program Director, the Special Education teacher will provide Special Education services consisting of evaluations, designing learning environments and activities, involving family members in the learning process and collaborating with Early Intervention and community resources. NYS Certified Special Education Teacher required. State Department of Health approval required. Minimum of two (2) years experience in evaluation and treatment of birth to three year olds and their families.
