Saint Vincent's Pax Christi hospice conducts regular bereavement support groups for adults in both Manhattan and Staten Island. They are free and open to the public.

In Manhattan, they are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at 227 East 19th Street, Room 1048 (between 2nd & 3rd Aves.) There is no need to pre-register but for more information, please contact bereavement services coordinator Ronnye Halpern, LCSW at 212.995.6869.

In Staten Island, people wishing to attend must pre-register by calling Susan Anderson, Bereavement Assistant, at 718 876-1022. A grief recovery seminar will be held on the second Saturday in September for both a day and evening group. Additionally, four different support groups of six sessions each will be conducted in the fall; dates to be announced.
