St. Vincent's geriatric hospitalist, Dr. Brian Scanlan, is a board certified physician who is an integral part of our Hospitalist System.  Dr. Scanlan delivers superior, comprehensive, and efficient care to your geriatric patients while they are hospitalized.  It is not necessary for you to have admitting privileges at St. Vincent's to refer your patients to Dr. Scanlan.  He will care for them 24/7 while maintaining your involvement in every aspect of their care.

Dr. Scanlan has had extensive clinical experience in a variety of settings including nursing homes; acute care hospitals and office practice. His administrative experience includes service as a medical director and a participant in clinical guideline development for an HMO in New England and New York State.
