New York Magazine names 29 St. Vincent's Hospital Manhattan Physicians as Top Docs in New York Metro Area

New York, NY (July 8, 2008) - New York Magazine has rated 29 doctors from St. Vincent's Hospital Manhattan among the best doctors of 2008 in its June 16 issue. The 29 doctors included in the magazine's annual 'Who's Who' of New York's medical community cover a wide variety of specialties at the hospital.
'We are thrilled to have so many physicians from our system listed among the best in the entire New York metropolitan area,' said Henry Amoroso. 'This demonstrates the high quality of care we offer at St. Vincent's Manhattan.'
The magazine's prestigious list of top physicians is compiled in collaboration with Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., the publishers of Top Doctors: New York Metro Area. The selections are based on surveys of more than 20,000 doctors, nurses and hospital administrators, who answered questionnaires distributed by Castle Connolly researchers. The roster contains the names of doctors in New York City, Long Island, Rockland County, Westchester County, northern and central New Jersey, and Fairfield County, Connecticut.
