Sister Jane Iannucelli, vice-chair of the Board of Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers and Henry Amoroso, President and CEO, marched in the New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade, which was dedicated this year to the Sisters of Charity in celebration of the founding of their order 200 years ago. Sr. Jane had the honor of being one of three sisters to don the traditional habit, including the iconic black bonnet, in representation of the three original sisters sent to New York by Mother Elizabeth Ann Seton in 1817. Among their good deeds since that time: founding St. Vincent's Hospital in Greenwich Village more than 150 years ago and installing a mission to serve those in need that continues today.
