St. Vincent's Hospital Manhattan Welcomes Dr. Phyllis Wan to its NICU team

St. Vincent's Department of Pediatrics is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Phyllis Wan to its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit team. Dr. Wan's educational and clinical accomplishments are nothing short of exceptional and we are thrilled to have her on board.

After obtaining a bachelor's degree from Columbia University and a medical degree from the State University of New York Medical School in Brooklyn, Dr. Wan was chosen to complete her clinical work in two of the country's top pediatric training programs. She completed her pediatric residency and internship at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburg and a neonatology fellowship at the New York Presbyterian Children's Hospital of New York. Dr. Wan was also awarded top honors at each location while in attendance. She is the recipient of the Pediatric Intern Teaching Award and the Annual Senior Resident Reward in Neonatology from the Children's Hospital of Pittsburg, and the prestigious Milton Singer Memorial Fellowship Award at Children's Hospital of New York.

While completing her post-graduate training, Dr. Wan gained expertise in a number of unique neonatal health topics through both her work with patients and her extensive participation in many hospital-based studies. In addition, we are also delighted that her fluency in three languages (English, Cantonese and Mandarin) will serve as an added benefit to our Chinese-speaking population at St. Vincent's. Welcome Dr. Wan!
