Dr. Sylvie Destian received her bachelor or art's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her medical degree from Temple University Medical School. She then did an internship at Hahnemann University Hospital, completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at New York University - Bellevue Hospital Center, and served a two year fellowship in Neuroradiology at New York Hospital - Cornell Medical Center. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Radiology and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology.
Dr. Destian is currently a Vice-Chair of the Department of Radiology at St. Vincent's Hospital in Manhattan and Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology at New York Medical College. Her clinical interests are HIV/AIDS, cerebral and spinal neoplasms, general head and neck imaging, and myelography.
