Dr. Emami is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
After earning his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, Dr. Emami completed the orthopaedic surgical residency program at the University of Chicago. He subsequently completed a spinal surgery fellowship at the University of California at San Francisco.
