advances in cardiac surgery, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, drug-eluting
stent placement and other sophisticated

Vincent�s Hospital Manhattan.
We opened our state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization
lab to diagnose disorders of the
arteries, heart valve and heart
muscle in 2002, and, thanks to our world-class team of cardiologists, nurses and
technicians, cardiac catheterization has since become one of our most sought
after services.
In 2003, we expanded the use of our
cath lab further by introducing a Cardiac Electrophysiology Studies
Program to examine an irregular heartbeat, including radio frequency catheter ablation and the placement
of implantable defibrillators to convert an arrhythmia to a normal rhythm.
Emergency Cardiac Services
Our
emergency department is staffed and equipped to offer individuals
experiencing chest pain immediate priority evaluation 24 hours a day, seven days a
week.
