If you need mechanical support to breathe, you need a knowledgeable team with you. Our Center for Ventilator Dependent Persons is a highly specialized unit that provides technologically advanced clinical management for people whose life depends on mechanical ventilator support.
We assess each resident for total medical management as well as for his or her potential to be weaned from the ventilator. Our care plans also address residents' ability to participate in activities of daily living and set goals to maximize their potential for communicating and participating in all social programs.
We also offer full restorative rehabilitation services, a respiratory unit for weaned patients who require ongoing rehabilitation or chronic care, respiratory therapy, parenteral nutrition, intravenous therapies and a seven-day-a-week activities program.
