Pediatrics


Caring for children has always ranked as one of our top priorities, and our pediatricians deliver the highest level of care to children from birth throgh adolescense. Whether we treat infants with special needs in our highly acclaimed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or deliver inpatient, outpatient care to urgent care older children, you can be sure our main focus is your child's good health and well-being. 

Newborn Services
With 40 bassinets, we care for some 3,900 newborns annually  There are approximately 600 annual admissions to the our highly acclaimed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and we register a survival rate of 997.2 out of 1,000 births, saving babies weighing as little as 1.5 pounds. 

Inpatient Services
With over 2,000 annual admissions to our ur 27-bed pediatric unit, we have proven expertise in treating  children with chronic or congenital conditions.  Our services include a pediatric intensive care unit with on-site pediatric pulmonology, endocrinology, hematology/oncology, nephrology, and surgery subspecialty services. 

Ambulatory Pediatric Services
Our pediatric ambulatory services sees some 10,000 visits annually with a focus on continuity of care, including growth and development, disease prevention and health promotion.  Our subspecialty services include:

� Adolescent medicine � Cardiology
� Developmental pediatrics � Endocrinology
� Gastroenterology � Hematology/oncology
� Infectious disease � Nephrology
� Neurology � Pulmonary medicine

Urgent Care for Children
Our specially designed Children's Urgent Care Area, which  records over 23,000 pediatric visits annually, delivers walk-in treatment quickly and well to children with routine pediatric illnesses and injuries, such as earaches, colds and sparins.  It is located adjacent to the clinic and emergency department, so just bring your children in whenever they need the right care right away.
