St. Vincent's Heart Rhythm Center

The St. Vincent's Heart Rhythm Center is committed to exceptional treatment of patients with electrophysiologic disorders. Under the direction of Larry A. Chinitz, M.D., the center's five full-time board certified cardiac electrophysiologists have proven expertise in diagnostic electrophysiologic studies, catheter ablation, pacemaker and ICD implantation, as well as cardiac resynchronization therapy, non-invasive risk stratification, and pharmacological management of heart rhythm disorders.

Dr. Chinitz is a recognized leader in the development of catheter-based therapy for arrhythmias, most notably atrial fibrillation. The Heart Rhythm Center's clinical work is augmented by active research activities that include cellular electrophysiology, animal studies, and a robust clinical trials program. These research endeavors keep the St Vincent's Heart Rhythm Center at the forefront of clinical cardiac electrophysiology and accessible to all the latest technology available for cardiac rhythm management.
