Continuing Medical Education
Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers, in order to provide the health care practitioners of SVCMC with the means to enhance their competence to deliver high quality medical and dental care, affirms its obligation to support a center-wide system of effective continuing medical education. The goal of this system is to upgrade health care throughout the Center by maintaining, augmenting and updating health practitioners' scientific knowledge, clinical skills and professional attitudes in order to facilitate the delivery of medical care to patients.
SVCMC serves as the academic medical center of New York Medical College in New York City.

Topics include, but are not limited to, medical/surgical protocols, quality assurance, risk management, public health law and performance improvement.
