St. Vincent's Hospital Manhattan is the academic medical center of New York Medical College in New York City.  It is a 758-bed academic medical center dedicated to the highest standards of patient care, medical education and research. 

Through our more than 340 residents and fellows, as well as  through our medical students, we express our continuing commitment to medical and graduate medical education,  In addition, house staff are offered ample opportunity for collateral reading, study and participation in clinical trials.

Located in the beautiful, historic Greenwich Village section of Manhattan, St. Vincent's Hospital Manhattan has served its community with distinction for more than 150 years.  From its modest beginnings in 1849 as one of the few charity hospitals in New York to the fine medical and research center it has become, St. Vincent's has always combined kindness and compassion with the latest medical technologies to deliver the best patient care.  Today, St. Vincent's serves a diverse patient population with some of the finest primary and specialty care services in the city, and it offers ample opportunity for residents to deepen their education and enhance their skillls.  Information on the individual programs is provided on the right.
