Internal Medicine - Pediatrics

Sponsor: New York Medical College

Overview

The Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency program at St. Vincents Hospital Manhattan is jointly sponsored by the Departments of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. This specially designed residency program leads to board eligibility in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the end of four years. The goal of the program is to train highly qualified primary care physicians who will be able to practice both general internal medicine and general pediatrics. Since graduates from this program will be board-eligible in both fields, they will have the option of pursuing medicine and/or pediatric subspecialty training.
