Overview 

The Department of Surgery at Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers Queens is part of a major affiliation with New York Medical College.

The surgical residency program is a traditional, five year, fully accredited program with positions filled in the NRMP (National Residency Matching Program), from applications submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

Resident physicians receive the majority of their educational experience at Mary Immaculate Hospital and St. John's Queens Hospital.
