Vomiting once or twice after a head injury is not uncommon. A blow to
the head that causes slight movement of the brain within the skull may cause
nausea and vomiting for a short time.
If your child vomits more than 3 times following a head injury,
medical evaluation is needed. Vomiting may be a symptom of a
serious head injury that is causing increased pressure
within the skull.
