Our highly skilled plastic surgeons champion the best interests of the patients in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery as our division comprises a peer-recognized group of board certified plastic surgeons with extensive training and experience in all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery. These surgeons care for patients of all ages who require care from traumatic injuries, congenital deformities, maxillo-facial conditions, hand injuries, and all aspects of elective aesthetic surgery.
Plastic surgeons serve the reconstructive aspect of the Cancer Care Center, such as breast reconstruction after mastectomy, with implants and autogenous tissue methods, head and neck reconstruction, microsurgery, and free flaps. They serve the Wound Care Center with specialized treatment of the most difficult wounds and respond to the numerous and urgent problems that arise within the emergency department.
