St. Vincent's Hospital Manhattan's Department of Medicine consists of over 60 full-time and 300 voluntary physicians. We are divided into fifteen academic sections with a training program of 144 interns, residents and fellows. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic excellence in our clinical, teaching and research programs.
As the academic medical center of New York Medical College in New York City, St. Vincent's Manhattan maintains a close, meaningful and productive relationship with the college involving many joint programs such and teaching activities.

Thank you for visiting the Department of Medicine at St. Vincent's Hospital's website. The Department is committed to fostering St. Vincent's mission by providing services with respect, integrity, compassion and excellence. The Department provides its research, clinical and academic services through 15 clinical Sections, residencies in categorical Internal Medicine, Community Medicine (our primary care track), transitional and preliminary residencies and 10 fellowship programs. We maintain clinical practices at several sites located throughout Manhattan, from East Harlem to the Lower East Side.
